The Acura Integra Type R (also known as Honda Integra Type R) is a front-wheel drive sports coupe built from 1998 to 2000. It uses a 1.8L inline-four, which produces 195bhp.
The Type R was the most expensive and fastest car of the last Integra generation. It is also a popular car in the import tuning scene.
Need for Speed: Underground
Edit
The Honda Integra Type R is unlocked in Need for Speed: Underground after completing Underground Mode event 53.
The car has a mediocre acceleration, but can reach a higher top speed than most cars in Underground. However, the Type R suffers from understeer whilst taking corners too.
Need for Speed: Underground features a highly modified variant of the Honda Integra Type R, which is branded as "Vortex". The "Vortex" can be driven at the beginning of the Underground Mode during a dream sequence and is unlockable for Quick Race, once the player has collected 46,000 style points.
Need for Speed: ProStreet
Edit
The Acura Integra Type R appears in Need for Speed: ProStreet as Tier 2 car costing $24,000. After successfully completing the Showdown event at Chicago, players will unlock the car.
It's one of the fastest front-wheel drive cars in ProStreet besides the Volkswagen Golf GTI. Thanks to its low weight, the Type R is a nimble car and therefore best utilised in Grip.
