The 2005 Aston Martin DBR9 is a GT1 race car manufactured by Aston Martin Racing to compete in the GT1 category.

It is based on the Aston Martin DB9, but uses an aluminum frame with carbon fibre panels as well as a stronger engine.

The DBR9 has been highly successful in numerous motorsport racing series such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, American Le Mans Series, and FIA GT1 Championship.

Need for Speed: ProStreet[]

The DBR9 appears as part of the downloadable Booster Pack for Need for Speed: ProStreet, and it cannot be modified.

Its top speed is 249 mph (401 km/h), but is capable of reaching 249 mph (401 km/h) in speed events. It has magnificent acceleration along with immaculate handling.

Need for Speed: Shift[]

The DBR9 appears in Need for Speed: Shift as a tier 5 car, which is rewarded to the player after they reached driver level 50. It is only playable in Quick Race.

Shift 2: Unleashed[]

The DBR9 appears in Shift 2: Unleashed as a purchasable Modern GT1 classed car with a price tag of $795,000. It has a performance index rating of A 1810 with a handling rating of 5.54.

It comes applied with the #7 Fischer Racing livery, and players can replace it with the #8 Fischer Racing livery, or the #9 or #10 Hexis Aston Martin Racing liveries.

Need for Speed: Edge[]

The DBR9 2010 appears in Need for Speed: Edge with an S class performance rating.

  • In Need for Speed: ProStreet, with the release of patch 1.1, the Aston Martin DBR9 model was updated with a non-paint material, and could no longer have its body paint colour altered.
