Need for Speed: World
Edit
The Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro was added as a Tier 3 vehicle on November 10th, 2011 to Need for Speed: World. Since August 22nd, 2012, it has been featured as a 'A' Class vehicle, which was retired on April 9th, 2013. On April 10th, 2013, it was made available for in-game cash.
The SpeedBoost variant is upgraded with Gromlen Race Tuned Parts and has a 682 overall rating. It is purchaseable for
4,600. The in-game cash variant has a 653 overall rating and costs
1,700,000. Both are upgradeable to S Class.
The R8 5.2 FSI quattro outperforms the the 4.2L variant in every performance aspect. The V10 R8 has acceleration as its best trait, since it is comparable to the fastest A Class cars in the game including the BMW M1 Procar. Its nitrous boost is above average as well. It feels responsive in corners and rarely tends to understeer, although a few cars such as the Porsche 991 Carrera S might be better. Its stock top speed is 190 mph (306 km/h). The SpeedBoost variant is capable of 202 mph (326 km/h).
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)
Edit
The Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro appears in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) as a Super class Racer vehicle and as a Rapid Deployment class police vehicle.
The Racer variant of the Audi R8 5.2 Coupe is only available as part of the SCPD Rebels Pack downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases. The Police variant requires 843,000 Bounty points to be unlocked.
Every variant of the Audi R8 is notable for having a good handling for drifts, though they tend to accelerate slower than some vehicles within their class. Due to their slightly heavy weight, they may prove to be durable in events involving the police.
Need for Speed: The Run
