Need for Speed: ProStreetEdit

The BMW Z4 M Coupe appears in Need for Speed: ProStreet as a Tier 3 vehicle with a price tag of $50,000.

It performs well in Grip and Drift events. Its responsive handling and good acceleration make it a competitive Tier 3 car.

Need for Speed: UndercoverEdit

The BMW Z4 M Coupe only appears in the Collector's Edition release of Need for Speed: Undercover as a free Tier 2 vehicle.

Players can drive up to 204mph (328 km/h) with a stock BMW Z4 M Coupe. However, this top speed can be easily beaten by the majority of the Tier 2 class. Even with any upgrade available in the game, the car cannot surpass the top speed of the BMW M3 E46, which also has a low top speed. To balance its performance, the Z4 M was given a responsive steering.

Need for Speed: ShiftEdit

The BMW Z4 M Coupe appears in Need for Speed: Shift as Tier 2 vehicle with a price tag of $60,000.

The BMW Z4 M Coupe appears in Shift 2: Unleashed as a Modern Road vehicle with a price tag of $45,200. It has a performance rating of D 610 and an 3,44 handling rating.

It is not capable of a Works conversion and has a performance rating of 5,70. The M Coupe is therefore a decent performer in Shift. Due to the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, it is prone to oversteer in corners though. Compared to the BMW Z4 sDrive35is in Shift 2: Unleashed, it has a higher handling rating.

Need for Speed: WorldEdit

The Z4 M Coupe was added to the car dealer in Need for Speed: World as a Tier 2 car on June 28th, 2010 during the seventh closed beta version. Since August 22nd, 2012, it has been featured as a 'D' Class vehicle and removed from the car dealer.

The standard variant has an overall rating of 362 and was available for both in-game cash and SpeedBoost. It is currently only obtainable through the purchase of the Origin Starter Pack.

Best trait of the Z4 M Coupe is handling, since the car is balanced in corners and responsive to steering inputs. Acceleration is on the same level as the Renault Clio V6 and other fast D Class cars. Its nitrous boost is average. Top speed is 147 mph (236 kmh).

Special VariantsEdit

The "Dagur" is a one-day rental for SpeedBoost2150. Aside from minor performance upgrades, the Dagur is equipped with a body kit. Since August 22nd, 2012, it has been removed from the car dealer.

The Z4 M "Limited Edition" was available to players as a top-up gift on February 16th, 2011. It was re-released as a top-up gift on 9th August, 2012 with performance parts increasing its overall rating to 542 and class rating to B.

Unlike most special car variants, the Limited Edition did not come with performance parts. It is customised with a unique theme and with several aftermarket parts. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 was another car to adopt this style.

A "Tony's Pizza" variant was made only available as a free one-week rental for North American residents from September 1st, 2011 to December 31st, 2011. To unlock the car, players had to acquire a box of Tony's Pizza and redeem an included code. The car did not have any performance upgrades, but a Tony's Pizza paint job.
