Games[]
Need for Speed II[]
The FZR 2000 appears in the Special Edition re-release of Need for Speed II as a bonus car.
To unlock it, players must win the Tournament Mode. It is also possible to unlock the car by entering the cheat code "fzr2000" at the main menu.
It is the fastest car in the game thanks to its top speed of 264 mph (426 kmh), stellar acceleration, and ability of mastering corners with sufficient traction and precision.
Trivia[]
- The FZR 2000 has elements resembling two General Motors concept cars; the 1986 Chevrolet Corvette Indy and 1988 Pontiac Banshee.
- In the car performance game files of Need for Speed II: Special Edition, the FZR 2000 has a 50% Front Drive ratio, making it the only non Rear Wheel drive amongst the regular and bonus cars.
- The FZR 2000 can only be selected with a red body colour.
- The in-game model has minor differences to its concept art, with the inclusion of a split windscreen and quarter glass windows, as well as smaller, lowered headlight assemblies.
