SCPD Ranks represent a player's current rank as a police officer within the Seacrest County Police Department, and is tied to the amount of bounty they have earned whilst driving as a cop.
Bounty earned as a cop from events, either in the SCPD career or online multiplayer, is added to the player's SCPD Rank.
Earning bounty, and reaching higher ranks as a cop, will reward the player with access to additional cars across all five performance tiers.
Higher ranking cops will also be placed closer to racers at the beginning of online Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted events than less experienced cops.
