Cars in Need for Speed: High Stakes consist of various sports cars and supercars. Some also appear in bonus and pursuit variants, and most vehicles can be fitted with Upgrades for racing in Career mode.

Additional cars were made available as downloadable content, as well as for regional Australian and Japanese releases.

Trivia

• Vehicles only included in localised retail releases were made available as add-on cars for all other releases.
• Additional Pursuit vehicles can be driven upon swapping cars with the A.I. police:

  • Land Rover Discovery
• All of the game's traffic cars are drivable with the use of Cheat Codes.
