Cars in Need for Speed: High Stakes consist of various sports and supercars. Some also appear in Pro Cup and Pursuit variants, and most vehicles can be fitted with Upgrades to compete in Tournaments and Special Events.

- The Australian Police variants of the BMW M5 and Lamborghini Diablo SV can be unlocked in non-Australian releases with the NFS PD cheat code.
- The Phantom, Titan bonus vehicles, and Police Helicopter can be unlocked with cheat codes that disable the ability to save the player's progress.
