The Ford Focus ZX3 is a standard range model of the Ford Focus when it was first introduced in 1998. It is powered by a 2.0L DOHC I4 engine producing 130bhp at 5,300rpm & 135 ft-lbs of torque at 4,500rpm with a standard 5-speed manual or optional 4-speed automatic gearbox. It is capable of going from 0-62 mph in 8.7 seconds and a top speed of 104 mph (limited).
Need for Speed: UndergroundEdit
The Ford Focus ZX3 is unlocked in the sixth Underground Mode event.
Its acceleration is above average compared to other hatchbacks. The Focus ZX3 doesn't stand out handling-wise and is able to reach a moderate top speed.
Need for Speed: Underground 2Edit
The Ford Focus ZX3 is unlocked by default in Need for Speed: Underground 2 and may be selected as a starter car in career mode by the player.
In Need for Speed: Underground 2, the Ford Focus ZX3 reuses its acceleration traits. However, its handling has been improved in the game, making it one of the fastest cornering Stage 1 cars. Biggest drawback of the car is its low top speed, which can be improved with performance upgrades.
Need for Speed: Underground RivalsEdit
The Ford Focus ZX3 is purchasable for $18,000 in Need for Speed: Underground Rivals.
