The Ford TS50 is a high performance sports coupé manufactured by Ford Australia of which there was a limited production run of 46 cars.

Unique T-series models of the Ford Falcon were marketed under the FTE name, FTE being an acronym for Ford Tickford Experience, as a joint venture between Ford Australia and Tickford.

The FTE T Series models, which were produced from 1999 to 2002, featured hand-built engines with an engraved plaque bearing the name of the engine builder. The TS50 was available with a five-speed manual gearbox by Tremec.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2

The TS50 appears in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 as a class 4 car and as a class E car in the PlayStation 2 release. It is unlocked upon collecting 5,000 NFS Points and by completing championship event 3 in the PlayStation 2 release.

The Ford TS50 performs decently. Its strongest trait is its high top speed, which is comparable to that of the Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG. The quick acceleration provided by the 5.6L V8 engine comes at the cost of handling though.

NFS Edition

The NFS Edition is unlocked upon collecting 10,000 NFS Points in the PC, GameCube, Xbox releases. It is unlocked in the PlayStation 2 release by winning the World Racing Knockout.

Pursuit

The Pursuit variant is unlocked upon collecting 10,000 NFS Points in the PC, GameCube, Xbox releases. It is not present in the PlayStation 2 release.
