Need for Speed Wiki is a comprehensive encyclopedia about the Need for Speed series, which allows anyone to contribute.

HistoryEdit

The Need for Speed Wiki was officially set up in April 14, 2006. However, it was quickly abandoned due to the absence of editors. Every so often, an editor would fix something and move on.

On March 23, 2008, almost 2 years after it's creation, Some Color Mage and Ryan., have taken over the site and became devoted to fixing it.

Since the beginning of 2011, many editors had put a lot of effort into the site by adding more than 300 pages, which resulted in NFS Wiki reaching a 500 pages milestone in March 2011.

After that CMAN122 and EternalBlaze were starting a redesign project for Need for Speed Wiki, in which later LeMans Racer, Hax 217, Red Polar Bear Ranger, and Some Color Mage joined.

Some Color Mage finally substanciated the project in April 2011, when he has changed the appearance of the site. It received a Hot Pursuit theme redesign.

On March 11, 2012, LeMans Racer has changed the previous front page design with a The Run theme.
