Porsche 911 Carrera (996)

Template:InfoboxCar2The Porsche 911 (996) replaced the 993 in 1997 and was made available with a series of water-cooled flat-six engines from Porsche instead of the air-cooled engines of previous 911 generations. Also notable for the 996 was its new body shell, which was no longer based on Ferdinand Porsche's original design.

It was also significantly increased in size to improve driving comfort. The Carrera RS model was dropped for this generation.

Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed

The Porsche 996 featured in Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed is superior in performance to the 993 and is often considered as one of the easiest cars to drive in the game. It proves to be a very competitive car in its class in the Modern Era.
