Speedbreaker is a gameplay feature available in Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Need for Speed: Carbon and Need for Speed: Undercover.
Speedbreaker allows the player to enter a temporary state of slow motion. Players are able to directly turn their vehicle at excessive angles and speeds whilst under the effect of Speedbreaker.
Speedbreaker can be used during a race to allow players to maneuver their vehicle through tight corners without having to slow down from high speeds.
Speedbreaker can also be used to dodge police vehicles such as Rhino SUV Units as well as allowing players to aim their vehicle through prime locations on a Roadblock.
