Speedsciens

Speedsciens is a fictional performance parts manufacturer featured in Need for Speed: World.

Their produced parts provide a statistically higher top speed performance boost depending on the installed component and are highlighted with a green tint.

All of Speedsciens' parts are of Ultra level rarity meaning that they are excessively rare parts that and are not readily available to any user. They are amongst the highest category available for improving vehicle performance. They provide each of their parts in either Improved, Sport or Tuned quality.

They offer a Custom Engine, Forced Induction and Transmission package fitted to the Best in Class edition Dodge Viper SRT-10 and Renault Mégane RS.

Parts produced by Speedsciens are best suited for vehicles that deliver high-end horsepower and are capable of hitting a high top speed. Vehicles with an V10 or V12 will generally benefit from their parts.

These parts can be acquired either from the Lucky Draw available upon the completion of any event or by purchasing Platinum Performance Card Packs.

Cash

Their tuned power parts were offered as part of a tiered reward for completing a certain number of drag events during a community challenge. They were made available for Cash within the Performance Shop section of the Safehouse on May 24th, 2015 as part of the End of the World event.

Engine

Engines produced by Speedsciens are designed to increase high-end horsepower for high-revving vehicles at the expense of a very little low-end torque increase.

Forced Induction

Forced Induction kits produced by Speedsciens increase high-end horsepower by producing greater pressure at a high point of a vehicle's rev range.

Transmission

Transmissions produced by Speedsciens are designed with a widened gear ration resulting in longer gears. This allows powerful low-end torque or high-end horsepower vehicles to take advantage of their peak rev range for a greater period.

Suspension

Suspension components produced by Speedsciens is designed to provide remarkable stability at high speed but the soft configuration can also produce a great deal of understeer.

Brakes

Brake kits produced by Speedsciens provide an unbiased braking configuration between the front and rear tyres. They provide fairly effective stopping power but are meant for smooth and stable reduction of momentum from high speed without locking up.

Tyres

Tyres produced by Speedsciens provide an increase in vehicle stability at high speed with the expense of an increased possibility of understeer.
