Transtek

Transtek is a fictional performance parts manufacturer featured in Need for Speed: World.

Their produced parts provide a statistically balanced performance boost depending on the installed component and are highlighted with beige tint.

All of Transteks' parts are of Ultra level rarity meaning that they are excessively rare parts that and are not readily available to any user. They are amongst the highest category available for improving vehicle performance. They provide each of their parts in either Improved, Sport or Tuned quality.

They offer a Custom Tyres package fitted to the Best in Class edition Renault Mégane RS.

Parts produced by Transtek are best suited for large displacement engine such as V8 vehicles that lack grip at high speeds. Vehicles producing a similar amount of horsepower and torque at greatly different points across the rev range will also benefit.

Availability

None of their parts are available for Cash within the Performance Shop section of the Safehouse. They can be acquired either from the Lucky Draw available upon the completion of any event or by purchasing Platinum Performance Card Packs.

Forced Induction

Forced Induction kits produced by Transtek increases the available horsepower and torque produced by the engine across a large span of the rev range.

Transmission

Transmissions produced by Transtek are designed to keep as much of the produced horsepower and torque going to the vehicle's wheels across a large span of the rev range.

Suspension

Suspension components produced by Transtek are designed to provide a greater amount of traction whilst off-road and at high speed. The configuration utilised will create a softer ride at the expense of a greater potential for understeer.

Brakes

Brake kits produced by Transtek can provide a great deal of stopping power for any type of vehicle. Each kit is configured with a slight front-wheel braking bias resulting in a greater chance of understeer.

Tyres

Tyres produced by Transtek can provide a great deal of grip and traction to vehicles that lack sufficient amounts in either aspect.
